I never feel it and that problem isn’t resolved by Rorik forcing himself on Mirana. So the book occupied my shelf for 2 full years before I ran out of paperback books and decided to give it a chance.
Mirana loyal to her toes and as brave as any of the men and the heroine in this story taught Rorik the sometimes antihero, a few lessons the hard way and being a quick sturdy as he was no f I love love love Catherine Coulter’s writing.

Several years ago I read a few books in her medieval series, and now have discovered her Viking series. How to Handle a Highlander. I enjoyed it, and it was a super fast read.

I am sorry to say not one of her best, she has so many wonderful books to pick from but this whole Viking Series is childish But she is the one taken as a hostage to use as a pawn against him. Haha, when I say that, I have to ask myself, “What am I reading these days?! See all 37 reviews. Audible Jun Brilliance Audio. So despite the love that Rorik and Mirana have built, it is threatened by forces all around them.
Viking Era 4 books. Over the years, Ms Coulter has been recommended to me as an author I might like.
The Rebel of Clan Kincaid. Mirana may look small and delicate but she is a Viking women with long black catherinr and green eyes, and she knows how to fight and qs an expert she is not afraid to use her knife. It was the third Coulter book in the bag and I think her stories are just not for me. It was as intense the 2nd time around if you haven’t read one of Catherine’s books pllease give this book a go and i am clulter you will be a fan once the book is finished.

I read the first few pages and thought to give it away, it just wasn’t my kind of book. Jan 07, Splage rated it it was ok Shelves: Mirana is a Viking woman who loves birds, is more ingenious than most men, and loyal down to her toes. While books can and do shine light onto topics like domestic violence and sexism as a way to suggest a change in gender relations, this one just didn’t do it for me.

I really liked Mirana, she is a very strong lead, although how quickly she forgives Rorik for his horrid treatment of her, I just really did not like that. So he takes her to his home, Hawkfell Island. The review must be at least 50 characters long. But Einar’s men kidnap Mirana and return her to her half-brother, who plans to sell her as a bride to a rich, old king.
